Various Children’s Pieces

Over the years I have also made quality children’s pieces of furniture and toys.

The doll’s cot was made to loosely match our big cot. The small chest was originally a treasure chest at a pirate’s birthday party and it is now a much loved box for special keepsakes.

I can make child sized chairs and tables to any design and these can be left in a natural wood finish or painted to tie in with existing decore.

This cot was born out of frustration with the lack of choice of New Zealand made nursery furniture. We wanted a solid rimu cot with a quality finish in a traditional style.

The tongue and groove ends are hand made, as are the brass fittings. The sides are removable to use as a junior bed or a couch.

Change tables can be made to match.

It is our intention to make up some different styles and display these on here. But fell free to make an enquiry, suggesting your own design or based on this one.
